Tackling climate change with Christiana Figueres in London

On Thursday a few London penguins watched Christiana Figueres discuss with the Guardian’s Environmental Editor the small topic of how to tackle climate change.  The overarching message was one of positivity, global collaboration, and inclusivity.  She highlighted that these guiding principles underpinned the historic success of the Paris Agreement and indicated how they must be applied to all global issues. Finishing with the memorable warning that we either all win… or we all lose!

Although our questions didn’t get answered (despite vigorous hand waving from Nadia and myself) we were inspired by Christiana’s relentless passion, energy, and stubbornness.

We also had the pleasure of bumping into Kaj, former South Pole penguin!
