Penguin Carrier Intro May 2017

Hello Penguins,

As we near the middle of 2017, time is really melting away faster than the polar ice caps. But given the caliber of work our global team has been up to lately, perhaps that’s not a turn of phase we will encounter very often in the future! As always, with so much happening on the SPG iceberg, the challenge comes in determining exactly what to highlight here in our monthly roundup, as fun stories and inspiring updates take place (across all time zones) every day.

The Public Advisory team have kicked off an exciting project advising the Norwegian government on the Colombian Sustainability Fund, while the Sustainable Supply Chains Team report the new addition of South Pole Group on the Business Renewable Center’s Advisory Board. Many of our penguins flocked to Innovate4Climate and Sustainable Brands this week, holding talks, attending sessions and tweeting away with vigor to ensure South Pole Group’s central presence in the global climate discussion. We’ve also had some much loved penguins leave the flock, and sad farewells were given to Florian and Caspar. But as some colleagues leave, new faces arrive and we are currently hiring in multiple offices to accommodate our growing penguin waddle.
