Penguin Carrier Intro July 2017
Hello Penguins,
Once upon a time, not that long ago, people everywhere used horses as a means of transport. A lot of horses, powered by a lot of biofuels, produced a lot of horse manure. As a result, cities were quickly drowning in horse manure. In 1892, the international community organized conferences to discuss the mitigation and adaptation to the horse manure crisis as the research institute of the day predicted that New York and London would be covered in 6 feet of horse manure by the year 1920.
We of course know that this never happened.
But it was not because of the success of these international conferences, but because the Elon Musk of the day, a man named Henry Ford, created an improved, scalable mode of transport with a much better user experience.
Similarly, we all keep investing our skills and creativity into developing smarter ways to solve the trickiest challenges posed by climate change, creating superior ‘user experiences’ for our customers and the planet. From reinventing product groups to enabling innovative collaborations along the supply chain, we work towards changing lives and businesses for the better, all over the globe. This would not be possible without each and every person here at South Pole Group.
Let’s keep up the great work and team spirit!
wishing you all a terrific month ahead,
Nadia Kahkonen, Head of Communications
