How U can get in on South Pole’s partnership with UCapture

Dearest Penguins,

I’m very excited to inform you of our official partnership with UCapture, a web browser extension that offsets a portion of your carbon footprint when you shop online.

South Pole is now the exclusive provider of carbon projects to UCapture’s platform. So far, the platform has offset almost 1 million pounds (lbs) of CO2 (yes pounds, we have to start somewhere) through individuals shopping online for our Kariba and Procuenca projects!

This is truly a grassroots endeavour that we hope will bring consumers into the voluntary offsetting world, playing their part in our global effort to combat climate change. I like to see this as leveraging the realities of consumerism to our mutual benefit.

BUT, we need YOUR help. Yes, you. Penguin. Our first step to promote this partnership is the creation of our own unique link where you can sign up to the UCapture program and install the UCapture extension on your web browser. Then, whenever you shop online with one of UCapture’s partners a portion of that purchase will go to our Kariba REDD+ project.

Oh yeah, did I mention that this is FREE for you? Well, you still have to pay for that penguin onesie that’s on your wish list but you get the point. Just do what you normally do, shop online and UCapture will take care of the rest!
